Did You Fail to Sell in 2025?
Did You Fail to Sell in 2025?
Or maybe you’ve lost hope in agents and the market this year? You’re not alone. 2025 has been a year of change, and at Carringtons, we’ve completely flipped the traditional estate agency model on its head—and the results have been beyond our expectations.
Our Year in Review: Transformation in Action
This year, we had the unique opportunity to A/B test our old, traditional method against our new, client-first process. The results speak for themselves:
Metric | Old Way | New Way |
|---|---|---|
% of Entrance Price | -4% | +3% |
Number of Viewers | 11 | 18 |
Number of Offering Parties | 2 | 4 |
Time Until Under Offer (weeks) | 13 | 5 |
Time Until Exchange (weeks) | 15 | 11 |
Time Until Completion (weeks) | 28 | 16 |
We’re proud to say our new process delivers faster results, more genuine interest, and better outcomes for our clients.
This Month’s Highlights: December Defies Expectations
December is usually our slowest month, but this year, we’ve seen some standout activity:
2 New Listings | 4 Properties (inc one off market) | |
|---|---|---|
Viewing Parties | 22 | Av: 19 Fewest: 4 Most: 26 |
Offers | TBC | Av: 4-5 Fewest: 2 Most: 6 |
Status | For Sale | Exchanged |
Time on the market (days) | 13 days (tbc) | Av: 10 weeks Longest: 22 weeks Quickest: 2 weeks |
Our First “Failure”
This year also brought our first so-called “failure”: an owner who, after seeing three competing bids and discovering the true market value, chose to keep their property. Instead of disappointment, we celebrated their gratitude for our honesty and transparency and belief in our process and strategy, a refreshing call for what traditionally would have been a sour end to a relationship.
If you’re tired of the usual agency runaround, or just want to see what’s possible with a fresh approach, let’s talk. Here’s to more success stories in 2026!
